  • New Year, New Snow

      

    I loves snow. Ask all my friends and they will tell you that I am crazy but it’s true. That sounded a little bit weird but who are you to judge? 

    Last night when I was coming back in from recording I saw the snow. It was weird because earlier in the day it was fairly warm but as soon at 4am hit the temperature was well below 40. I was taking a few drags from my pipe when I could see the little specs of white falling in front of my neighbors security light. 

    I intended on checking the forecast but got caught up in trying to make my new mini remix work. When I later on woke up I took a peek outside and saw the ground covered. We can officially say the first snowfall hit Louisville. This means the next one is going to be business. 

  • Its Saturday Evening… whew

    I made it through the long stressful week of work. I also signed up for College Algebra this past Thursday so I’m all set for the semester. I’m really not looking forward to this but oh well, I’m just hoping I can change my major soon. I’m currently considered a business major but after a little research online I think I want to become a digital journalist.

    It fits me right? I love to write and a lot of my writing has been posted online to this blog or Android Headlines. I get a joy out of making post. I figured that since this is something that comes easy to me I should just pursue a career in it, even if I suck at it. lol

    I don’t think I’m too bad of a writer though. I guess you can judge by the way I formulate my blogpost but that shouldn’t be the case. Its a blog, I’ll continue to write how I like on here. (You damn right).

    Digital journalism sounds fun though. I’m not to fond about the whole sitting in an office thing so I’m hoping that once I reach the level where I can intern I end up at one of those companies that treat you like google. I’m trying to walk in and see the big cafeteria with the healthy food, people rolling around on scooters, big comfy couches and whatever the hell else they have.

    We need fun to grow and complete task. Its the only way to swiftly move through life without even noticing the pot holes. Take it from me, afrodamus.

  • Listen to Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister Last Words

    Wow, this is actually news to me, not to mention that I’m late. The lead front man of Motörhead (Lemmy) passed away on December 28th last year, he was 70. As a tribute to the man who’s song “Game” is used by WWE wrestling, Triple H, Finnish dairy company Valio paid their respects.

    Shortly before his death, Lemmy agreed to do a commercial with with them in which he used these lines:

    I don’t drink milk, and I never will. You asshole.

    During post product, the company heard about his death and decided to alter the ad and create a tribute video in his honor. Its pretty crazy how quick death happens. Anyways, heres the video for you to watch. Pretty chilling since these are his last words to the general public.

    Okay so I’m totally going to be that guy, I don’t like this. I don’t want to entirely diss this but I’m an advocate for traditional skateboarding, pushing is better. I see this little toy getting bought by a bunch of hipsters who vap from those high powered metal burners!

    Anyways, going down the spec sheet. It takes two hours to charge this thing and it will only take you down the road for 6 miles. Do you know how much farther I can go with my athletically strong legs? Maybe I’m thinking like an old person who doesn’t want a cellphone or my dad who thinks that reading any type of book or magazine on a smartphone or tablet is an abomination.

    I can’t say too much, if the damn thing lasted for 5 hours, I would probably go for a Sunday morning stroll around the city or better yet… grab my wooden skateboard and go to the skatepark.

  • I Wouldn’t Feel To Bad Stealing Netflix

    Personally I’m not a Netflix user. I had a free trial of it but I eventually gave up on it once I noticed I rarely got on my PlayStation to watch a show. I’ve been offered numerous times by people who have a Netflix account that they’ll give me there credentials but I kindly decline. Either way, if I did Netflix wouldn’t care. At The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said that they love people sharing Netflix.

    According to Hastings, people who use another persona account eventually become Netflix users themselves. An example he gave was of a parent sharing their Netflix with a child. That child will eventually grow and more than likely subscribe the to the video streaming service. Hastings says, “That’s a positive thing, not a negative thing.”

    I guess we can all agree that Netflix is a company that is more concerned about happy the customers are. So if you are using your buddy’s Netflix login then keep on going, Netflix wants you too.

  • Kendrick Lamar Performs Untitled 2

    Kendrick Lamar became an instant favorite when he dropped his anticipated album To Pimp a Butterfly (TPAB). From the funky bass lines of “Wesley’s Theory” to the nerve-racking cries heard in “U”, its safe to say that K.Dot put a classic together. This one goes into the books for album of the decade, and I’ll say it.

    Recently aired on the Jimmy Fallon show, Kendrick Lamar released another Untitled track with yet again the same feel that the his album delivered last year. Words can’t explain the song so I’ll let you see for yourself.

    Childish individuls at work

    Ahh, good ol UPS. The lights are bright, the smell of jet fuel fills the air, and I’m inside a dusty truck with pieces of wood and torn paper lying on the floor. How exciting is it that I’m here?

    Not really. 

    Before I come into work I usually sit in my car listening to music trying to bump my mood up. I mostly listen to a lot of high tempo rap songs or some funky bass lines from Thundercat. The music usually gets me going and I no longer have that depressed feeling sitting on my chest. I also try to remind myself that I shouldn’t care about the petty feelings that other depressed Upsers display towards me or the rest of the posi. Delightful right?

    Yet again, not really. 

    Once I walk in and go through security I usually fall back down the dreadful hole that work places me in. It’s a poor exchange, back breaking work for a crumb of the UPS pie. It’s time for me to act now, which I am, and get the hell out of here. You can’t leave anywhere without a plan. Set goals and go.

    That’s what I’m doing.

  • Eating Pickles in Milk Is Foul

    So I’m on facebook and I scroll down and run into a screen shot that my buddy Cj shared of a bowl of milk with pickles in it. The caption said “You ain’t from Michigan if you haven’t had this!” It had to have been the most foul picture I have ever seen other than the blue waffle photos. haha

    Anyways, my homie Dakotah commented on their some some typical Dakotah shit, “Idk in any universe that would be good and this is coming from a guy that eats peanut butter on his Bologna and mix grape soda into tea Lol I’ve done some weird shit but this is weird on a whole other universal scale.”

    Now lets focus on the part where he said peanut butter and bologna, plus the grape soda and tea. Those aren’t near as bad when I dared him to snort pepper (which he did), and when I gave him the rest of my M&M’s that played around in my socks before passing them to him. LMAO!

    Those were the good ol’ days, harmless pranks, tea, skateboarding and video games.

    I think I’m going to cry… lol.

    I just thought I would share that random thought with you guys. It was pretty funny. Oh but the pickles in a bowl of milk…NASTY!

    ps. I just ran across the video of Dakotah drink tea mixed with grape soda. I forgot we even made this. I think we were Juniors in high school. haha
